Another Character Development Book

Greetings All,

I just recently finished the book, This Gilded African by Wenda Parkinson. The book is about the rise of the Great Toussaint L'Overture. The book talks about the, not only how he out maneuvered the Spanish, English and French, but also about some of the forces that went into shaping his own character.

As you know, I am always looking for inspirational books that I could recommend to our youth and their parents that might help to shape and development their own character.

Needless to say, your recommendations are always appreciated.
